Intissar Ben Halim, licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist, with embodied practice. She has experienced all aspects of the process she facilitates in the therapy womb space.

My Approach

I approach the therapeutic relationship with a deep conviction and trust in the process. I engage and connect with clients on a profound heart, mind, and body level rather than through the lens of a diagnosis or label. I believe that each person is their own expert, and my role is to facilitate the processes through which you can achieve greater connection to yourself.

Cultivating better contact with oneself and learning to be more compassionate and supportive toward yourself is foundational to the therapeutic process I hold and facilitate.

In our work together, you remain the authority on your own experience while I provide the framework and guidance to help you deepen your self-understanding and find your own solutions.

My practice is anchored in five fundamental values that guide every aspect of our therapeutic journey:

  • Accessibility - Creating welcoming, barrier-free spaces where healing can begin

  • Trust - Building a foundation of safety where vulnerability can flourish

  • Compassion - Meeting each person with deep understanding and kindness

  • Restoration Towards Wholeness - Supporting the natural movement toward integration and healing

  • Impeccable Care - Providing the highest standard of therapeutic presence and attention

This collaborative approach honors your inherent wisdom while offering the therapeutic structure needed for meaningful growth and transformation.

I consider that embarking on a therapeutic journey is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself. I understand that having access to this process is a privilege, and I hold that awareness with deep respect for those who choose to take this step.

I also acknowledge that fear is a natural and expected part of this process. Resistance and fear often arise in the initial phases of therapy, or even when first considering whether to begin.

These feelings are not obstacles to overcome but rather companions on your path to a greater relationship with yourself. They deserve acknowledgment and compassion as you contemplate this meaningful step toward healing and wholeness.

Your courage to sit with these fears, to consider this journey despite them, is already a testament to your strength and readiness for transformation.
